Float Two List Items to the Top of Dropdown

(0) ShareShare

I have a list of all 50 States.

I have Dropdown1.

All 50 States in the list appear in a dropdown (Dropdown1) in alphabetical order.

I have been asked to add two other entities - 'All States' and 'No States'.

How do I force the two new entries to the top of the currently alphabetically dropdown list whenever a user opens Dropdown1?

    Hi @Phineas ,

    What are the current Items of your drop-down?

    The 'States Names List', in alphabetical order.

    Dropdown1: Items = 'State Names List'

                         Default = " "

    @Phineas ,

    Assuming your field name is State, run this (app OnStart will do)

    ClearCollect(
     colStates,
     {State: "All States"},
     {State: "No States"},
     'State Names List'.State
    )

    The Items of your drop-down is then

    colStates
