Setting up default value in lookup field of child form

I have a parent and child tables in dataverse.

I have a subgrid added with child table in my parent form.

whenever i click on new item of child table it opens a quick create form of child data and the lookup column of the child form is allowing me to select the values from it. But I need the look up to be auto populated with the parent record value. kindly help.

After 2 days of efforts, finally I found the answer. Edit the parent form and select the child table and enable the "show related records" option.
