Just tried the "Update forms and views" button on table screen. Found it wonderful at first as you can finally manage easily forms and views directly from the table.
However there is a huge problem to it. You can only add columns. It is impossible to remove them when you already saved it. So if you make a mistake you have to go back to the forms and change it manually, each. Same for the views.
By going too fast, I had to remove a column from the table that I added with the button "Update forms and views". Impossible as there are dependencies created due to forms and views. I had to go in every forms and every views to remove the column, had to do it in 8 different instance... This was very painful.
Please Microsoft make this button a real "Update" button and not only an "Add columns to forms an views".

This feature is focused on "Adding" new fields to the forms and views as described here (https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/update-forms-and-views-more-conveniently-with-table-designer/)
You might want to vote for this feature (https://ideas.powerapps.com/d365community/idea/9a1aace0-260b-4138-843c-35a1d2f4cd5b) or add a new idea if it doesn't align with what you are looking for.
