Bold part of a label

Hey,

I have a label field and would like to bold only one word in the text. Obviously I could use multiple labels (or an HTML input) and just put them next to each other but I want to know if this can be done within the text element of one label control.

Anybody know how to do it?

Thanks

Sam

    Hi @Anonymous

    The HTML text control allows you to bold a single word.

    @Drrickryp Hey,

    I'm aware of the HTML control but what I'm actually trying to do is part of a label of a button so the HTML control wont work.

    I know I could always place a transparent button over the HTML control but I just want to know if there's any way of doing it as part of a standard label.

    Thanks

    @Anonymous

    The HTML control could act like a button as it has its own OnSelect property.  Otherwise, I think the only other option is the one you mentioned, to overly the HTML control with a transparent button without text.

    Thanks @Drrickryp

    My only problem with that is that it isn't obvious to the user that the item is clickable. Only when using the button do you get the hand cursor when you hover over the item.

    I get it.  If a control doesn't have the look and feel built in, sometimes you have to improvise.  Usually, there is a way to make it happen.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Here is the working model of your requirement.

    HTML as Button.gif

    Coming to implementation part:
    Step1: Insert a HTML Text control and provide / format the text u needed.
    Step2: Add a button on top of that and make it transparent and remove the below list of properties
    HTML as Button1.png

    Remove the color for pressed, Disabled and Hover color fields and select the color as transparent.

    Step3: Make html control and button in one group that's it ....

    If you do these 3 steps you are on track 😊.

    Do let me know if you see any challenges, I am always happy to help.

    Regards,

    Krishna

    Use html text field instead of label and in the "HtmlText" add:

    "some normal text - <b> some bold text </b>"

    will look like:
