Combobox List of Items is Blank

Hello All...

My ultimate goal is to be able to filter a Gallery based on the value in a Sharepoint Choice field.

SP List = Accounts

SP List Choice Column = AcctType

I have added a Combobox (Combobox1) to the canvas and set the Items Property to: Choices(Accounts.'AcctType')

The (5) options from the choice column appear in the "preview" at the bottom of the formula bar as Values.

When I preview the app and select the combobox, the "list" is blank. There is a corresponding number of rows, but no visible text.

I have added a label control to the canvas and set the Items Property to: ComboBox1.Selected.Value. When I run the app, click the combobox and select one of the blank rows, the corresponding Choice Option appears in the Label.

I have dug through the forums here and tried the solutions that I could find but I cannot seem to resolve this...

Also, using "Power Apps for Teams" for what it is worth...

Fairly new to PowerApps (digging it so far) and figured this would be pretty straight forward....

Anyways, I would appreciate any help that I can get.

Try Sort(Choices(Accounts.'AcctType'), Value, Ascending). For some unknown reason this sometimes works for me.

Unfortunately, no change.

The preview of values was sorted as well as the "blank list" when I run the app and check the selection with the Label Field.

I appreciate it though....

Same symptoms - also seeing this... the 'Building' column is a choices column

In my case, the combo box was coming up with a long blank list of options.

But when I went to my list of "Items" and reviewed, it would show the right thing.

As it turns out, on the Combo Box there is an "IsSearchable" field in the "Advanced" tab. So I think it was waiting for me to start typing/searching for the value (like a person lookup would). But I didn't want this. I wanted my two possible options to show up out of the gate. I turned "IsSearchable" to false and it worked.

Hi,

1. Switch the Search option on/off or off/on depending on your current setting

2. Its possible the users don't have access to that but since you see it, its either #1, or its just this bug. You may need to turn off Search

also try switching the select many to on / off or off / on
