Issue with Inventory Disappearing

Good Day Everyone,

The below app works fine, unless a Vehicle/Equipment Number is put in that is not in the Vehicle & Equipment List.  If a number is put it that is not in inventory, the list of Vehicles and Equipment disappears (Send Screen below).

Would anyone know how to remedy?

    Could you try including a check for if the Length of the text is zero, that way it won't filter on a blank value:

    Filter(
     'Vehicles and Equipment List',
     Len(TextSearchBox1.Text)=0
     ||
     StartsWith(Title, TextSearchBox1.Text)
    )

    Cheers,

    Sancho

    Hi @iAm_ManCat

    Thanks for reaching out.  I tried the solution and received the same result.  I entered a random number into the Search Bar and received the screen below:

    Can you show the Visible property of your TextInput1 - as it looks like that is disappearing once you type? That shouldn't do that, otherwise how do you clear the search?

    Hi @iAm_ManCat

    The gallery data only disappears if I don't enter a correct Vehicle/Equipment Number.  Here is the Visible property.  How would you recommend clearing the Search?  Thank you!

    As your formula currently stands, if someone makes a mistake entering in the search field, they will need to restart the app to try search again..

    Imagine you went to google to search, and because there were no results found it hid the searchbar from you so that you can't search again - that's what yours is currently doing

    I would change that Visible property of TextInput1 to true

    I would want the search bar always visible - that way if someone makes a mistake when typing they can backspace/change what they are searching for until they find what they need

    Is there a specific reason you hid it when an incorrect value is typed in?

    Thanks @iAm_ManCat   That did it!   No specific reason, except I'm a newbie.  Appreciate your help!

    Glad I could help! We all had to start as newbies 🙂
