I'm importing data from Excel into my entity.

I have a very important entity that is a Lookup type.

The GUIDs for the Lookup entity are in the Excel Sheet.

I map the column to the entity...

 and I get this error:

Maybe CDS doesn't recognize GUID from Excel?? What would be the best way to fix this?

Does anyone know how to import Lookup fields with their entities?

Hi @PurpleDeveloper, would it be possible to try the same thing but with a CSV file. You should get the option to map your lookup file and that will work.

Here's link for guidance. It mentions CRM 2011, but for CSV the tool is the same: https://www.powerobjects.com/blog/2010/10/01/crm-2011-data-import-wizard/
