Is there any API to import data from excel sheet to Dataverse Table ?

No there is no, But if you want to Import Data from Excel then User Microsoft Flow to Import the same in Dataverse

This is not accurate.
Excel, XML and CSV data can be directly imported via the SDK for Dataverse, you do not need to use a user interface. That said the interface's do make it easier to do.
