Power Apps Android crashing with “malformed base64” in one environment

I’m having a problem with Power Apps on Android. In one of our environments, all apps fail to open and show the error “This application isn’t opening correctly” and “malformed base64”.
The strange thing is that the same apps work fine in the browser and on iOS devices. Even simple test apps created by users with no images or logos don’t work. Apps in other environments open normally on Android.
We tried clearing cache and data in the Power Apps app, reinstalling it, and testing on multiple Android devices, but nothing fixed the problem.
Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone know a workaround or a way to fix this until Microsoft releases a patch? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

We are experiencing the same problem on Android devices; none of them are opening the apps. We are from Brazil and so far we have no solution other than using PowerApps through the browser.

I’ve checked, but none of the apps have files or images with spaces in their names.
Some apps don’t even contain any images at all, and they still crash on Android with the same “malformed base64” error.
Same apps work fine in another environment and on iOS/browser.

We faced same issue yesterday. IOS no problem but Android give this error. I tried many different solution ways, asked many ai chats but no solution as well. We use this app with 200 people. Half people use Android. Our operation stoped for this issue. MS please fix this.

Power Apps Android crashing with “malformed base64” in one environment
We are experiencing an issue where Power Apps applications fail to open on Android devices. When attempting to launch any app, users receive the following message;“This app isn’t opening correctly. This app didn’t install correctly. Please try again.”
    Error: malformed base64
    Session ID: (varies per user)
The issue only occurs on Android devices — the same apps open correctly on iOS (Apple) and web clients.
The problem started globally around last night (UTC) and affects multiple tenants and environments.
    We have already tried:
Clearing cache and data of the Power Apps mobile app, Reinstalling the Power Apps mobile application, Restarting the device...
None of these steps resolved the issue.
It appears to be a recent regression or deployment issue on the Android Power Apps client. HELP

I’m sharing a temporary workaround to be able to use the app:

    1. In Power Apps, find the app and select Share. Copy the generated link or save it as a note in your phone’s notes app.

    2. Delete the Power Apps mobile app.

    3. Paste the app link into your browser to open it, or if you saved it as a note, go to the note and tap the link.

    4. The app will open in the browser.

    5. Select Continue in browser.

    6. Enter your email and password.

    7. Grant all requested permissions.

    8. From the browser menu, select Add to Home Screen.

    9. The app icon will now appear on your home screen, and you can access it from there.

Same, we've tried clearing cache and data, reinstalling Power Apps, republishing the apps, but they won't open in any of our Android devices. This only happens in one environment, since the exact same app in another environment will in fact open.

I manage several environments that contain essentially the same applications for different countries.
The issue occurs only in one of them.
At first, I thought it might be related to a graphical resource (for example, an image), but the error persists even when creating a completely blank app within that environment.
Could this be related to a configuration issue or an environment-level parameter?

I am from Brazil and I am suffering from this same startup problem on Android; it seems that we still don't have solutions. I also use the app for work, and I have had to use it through the web :(
