Limit the lookup field in a worksheet line to only one.

Hello everyone,

I'm relatively new in the ecosystem for model-driven apps. I'm creating a worksheet header and line. Here's the breakdown of the tables involved.

Employee info table (the header)

Employee Salary (the lines)

Employee Salary elements

1-N relationships exist between the header and the lines.

An N-1 relationship exists between the lines and the salary elements. (probably this is wrong).

However, when I perform a lookup to the salary elements, I notice I can keep multiple salary elements inside of just one. I would like to limit the lookup to one. Simple, if I've selected an element for a line, I shouldn't be able to select that same element again.

Please, how can I go around this?
