Is copilot included with the standard subscription when purchasing Surface laptops?

Hello everyone,

I am considering purchasing a new Surface laptop, specifically looking at the new copilot + pc Surface laptops. I am wondering if copilot is included with the standard subscription when you buy these laptops. Can anyone confirm whether this is the case?

That depends on what you mean by Copilot standard subscription. It does not include a subscription to Microsoft 365 Copilot or Copilot Studio. It does include a button on the keyboard to invoke Copilot and a Neural Processing Units (NPUs) to improve Copilot response. But unless you purchase a subscription the Copilot you get access to is the same one that is included for free with the Edge browser. Microsoft Copilot | Microsoft AI
