I created a form with a DataCard with a textbox and i replace it with a drop down list and it get the value from a excel list.
When user create a new record and the drop down value(stock movement value) will save into excel file.
however user edit the existing record, the drop down list always shows the first entry in the drop down instead of the correct entry for that record.

How to get the drop down to display the correct value in edit mode?

DataCard settings for DataCardPayOrderOrderDiscountID

DataField: "stockmovement"

DisplayName: "stockmovement"

Required: False

Default: ThisItem.stockmovement

Update: dd_stockmovement.Selected.stockmovement

DropDown settings for dd_stockmovement

Items: StockMovement

Value: stockmovement

Default: Parent.Default

    Hi,

Can you try changing the Default property of the dropdown to:
    ThisItem.stockmovement
