User assigned with Custom Security role unable to add columns in the table which is created in Default Environment.
We have created table in Power Apps under Default Environment
We have created the New security role, didn't copy from existing role.
Assigned required permission (Full permission) under Custom table to the respective table.
Assigned the custom security role to user.
User able to see the table under Default environment
User able add rows to the table, but unable to Edit/Add/Delete columns to the table.
There is no any lock symbol to the column.
What could be the issue and what access still need to provide, can some one please suggest.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

For Add/Edit/Delete the columns from the table, you need to have System Customizer or System Administrator role. The new role you have created and full permission under the custom table will give you the access write on the record level not on Table level.

Normally, only the Developer and administrator will have the highest permission not for user.

    Thanks,
    Vejai SH

Thanks, we already noticed the detail of system customizer, but still the requirement for user is need a table in Default environment and that needs to use in future. Directly providing system customizer is not recommendable, but again by customizing the copy role of system customizer, we would like understand what entity will give permission to Add/Delete/Edit the column of the table. It would be really if we have the entity details. We tried all Chat-GPT analysis too, but in real time it didn't work out.

To all, whoever responded to this query, please note, the default system option like System Customer or System Administrator are identified as highly elevated roles. for single user / group requirement in default environment will not be encourage with these system default admin roles.

This need to create as custom role. Under respective environment, we need to create dedicate role with required permission set Customization and full permission to respective table under Custom Table.

Then we need to assign the role to specific user under Default environment, With that user can able to perform tabel activities in Default environment.
