Personal Views have disappeared from model-driven app after upgrading solution

We have Dataverse search turned on in the environment;  Modern Advanced find in model-driven apps is turned on.

 

Users created their own personal views in a model driven app.  Yesterday we upgraded from version 1.0.0.19 of a solution to v1.0.0.20 - after that upgrade the personal views are no longer available.  Do personal views get overwritten when a new version of the solution in which the model-driven app is published?

 

All the views contained a column that was deleted from the new solution.

    Ignore this, I can't see how to delete the Post, but I misunderstood the situation - the views are still there but no data was being returned, this was easily fixed by removing the old column placemarker from the views.
