I created a solution in our sandbox environment with the purpose of adding fields to Accounts and Opportunities. I pushed the solution to production using the deploy feature as a managed solution. I accidentally loaded up columns that had been customized in production and were not the same in Sandbox.
The documents say "Deleting a managed solution deletes ALL the components that are in the managed solution as well as any related data. Always use caution before deleting a managed solution."
Am I to assume that if I delete the managed solution it will delete the new columns I added, but also any other columns loaded up into the solution. I am looking to just "undo" the changes that the solution made. Can I just delete the solution, or do I need to perform a restore from a previous version of production?
