I'm getting the above error, when I try to load Entity from CDS to Chart in Canvas App.

Thanks,

    Hi @T3ch0H4ck3r ,

Since I have no idea about your detail scenario and your future requirements, if you would use lookup fields and option sets in the entity for your power bi data source, I would recommend you to create Power BI dashboards and tiles in Power BI desktop and then you could add Power BI tile control in Power Apps.

Add Power BI tile control in Power Apps:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-power-bi-tile

As for LookUp and Option sets fields in CDS, you will find that they are supported in Power BI. Here is a thread talking about option set in Power BI users group for you to refer to:

If you meet any further problems, please feel free to let us know.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replay @v-jefferni, but as per our Business Requirement we want to use more Lookups and Options Set type fields and also future requirements would be more complex. Is there any other optional solution would be better, for now I'm going with Power BI. But in future it would be more helpful if can able to use those type of fields in charts.

Re: PowerApps encountered an internal error trying to evaluate this expression.

    Hi @T3ch0H4ck3r ,

Have you encounter any other issues or errors in your design process?

Based on your description and screenshot, this would happen while you evaluate a table and fields in which are LookUp fields or when the fields contents are tables which contain multiple records.

So if you did not meet any other errors and could get data you want into the chart, you could use this entity as data source as usual.

    Hope this helps.
