Power Apps Access Request

I have several apps that are shared with different groups within my org. I cant just share the apps with everyone as they are segmented for certain job functions.  What I would like to be able to do, is publish the links to the apps and automatically grant access when you chose the request access button. (this appears if they click the link to the app and do not have access) If they request access, I get the attached email but I don't not want to manage this manually.

Is this possible?

As Approval requests from Memory are stored within a tenants default environment (see https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/approvals-in-cds-and-seven-updates/.) in theory you could do it that way.

But Alex Shliga tried to automate handling a response at https://www.itaintboring.com/power-platform/powerautomate-approval-entities-in-cds/ and it looks difficult and subject to change - so the obvious route of automatically approving them is not likely to work.

Mind you a wonder if a Ui flow approach may work as the button should always be in the same place.
