Using Live Quickbooks Online Data in a Canvas App using a Connector?

A little background.  I have been struggling with this connector for months (and months) and had basically given up but decided to try again and, lo and behold, it suddenly was working and not only that, working well but, so far, only from PowerBI Desktop which is good but only part of the way there.

While this is a great start (finally), what I really need is to access this QBO data from within a Canvas App (and probably a Flow shortly) to implement some data integration and synchronization actions between my PowerPlatform app and QBO.  I thought I would be able to turn a "published" Semantic Model and Report in Power BI Services (now Fabric) into a Dataflow but so far that step has eluded me. I am not certain if the behavior I am seeing is intentional (meaning I am not using it correctly) or if I have caught the PowerPlatform team (Power Apps and Power BI) in a transitional state where something now works in one part (PowerBI Desktop) but is not yet available for Enterprise use via PowerBI Services (now Fabric).

I have a working Semantic Model and Report that brings live Quickbooks Online data into both Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (Fabric).  The weird thing is that I can only see the Connector in Power BI Desktop.

It is completely visible in Fabric (Power BI Services) after I publish it and the Report works perfectly.

My question is: How can I turn the working Semantic Model into a Dataflow visible in my Power Apps Studio?

Alternately, when I try to create the Dataflow directly using the Fabric (Power BI Services) interface it is not finding the QBO connector (above)

Anyone, anywhere seen this behavior before?
