Navigation caching links after creating the page

I created the page for my power apps portal from the portal management app, not from the portal studio. Then I deleted the page, however it's still showing up as a child in my website. I cleared the cache, synced the configuration, made sure the page isn't there under active/inactive web pages. Nothing is working and I still see my navigation having a dropdown (which it shouldn't) and displaying that deleted page. When I click on that link it just sends me back to the parent page.

I have the same question (0)

    Well.. it should

but it doesn't, you have to clean the Web Link Set manually

I'll definitely make sure to read the article. But why when I deleted the page, it didn't update the web link? Like the page is no longer there, shouldn't the default web links be updated to remove the reference to the page?

    Hi

it is probably just the Web Link in the Web Link Set, you can just delete/deactivate that

every time you open the Portal Studio it refreshes the main Web Link Set (navigation menu) with your custom pages.. no matter where you created the page from

I wrote a blog post on this issue explaining in details root cause/solution, take a read whenever you have a chance:
