Power Apps Share Requests - turn off?

I have a canvas app which colleagues are requesting access to, sending me an email. Is there a way to turn this functionality off for one specific app or does it have to be across a tenant? I have a flow within the app which allows the admins to add on users so I need to find a way to remove the ability for users to request it.
I have the same question (0)

I cannot find any similar settings for Power Apps specifically. I had already come across this, unless I'm searching for the wrong terminology I've read most of the search results in the hope I can find something

The issue is not the app, rather than the data sources it is connected to. The easiest way to avoid this is if you are going to share an app, give the users access to all data sources connected to it. You can do this easily with Office365 Security Groups and share both the app and data sources with the Group, then have all users as members of the Group.

I don't want to share the app. That's the issue.

The app itself has a user access page for admins to trigger a flow to manually add users on OR following the automated process, users who should be using the app are given access. They get the access to the data source (SharePoint) and the app through a power automate flow.

The issue I'm getting is, users are getting the email to invite them to use the app and complete the process, they don't want to do it so forward the email to a colleague who opens the link to the app which they don't have access to. They are given an option to request access to the app, generating an email to me. I'm the developer so I don't know if they should/shouldn't have access. So overall it's generating a lot of work for something you'd assume you could just turn off?

Yes - I can see the issue now. I avoid sending emails with any app URL link for this reason (it becomes inside a forwarded thread and who knows where it ends up). Once it is shared, it should come up in the user's app list and you can always send the URL via Teams Message.
I do not believe there is a method of "turning this off" as it is "back behind" anything you have control of.
