Price comparison between suppliers

Good day all.

I just have a quick question.

I am busy populating an excel workbook for a DB. I want to build a price comparison app between different suppliers for specific items i.e. laptops, desktops, networking equipment etc. Can anyone please advise if I am on the right track? I have attached what I have so far.

Your advise would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

I forgot to mention that the stock on hand for each supplier and item must also be displayed. I have not added those columns yet though

Hello, @MauriceBotha, I would build a Data model that eliminate this redundancy, you need to normalize your Data model. In your use case, create three tables: one for the Devices Information and One for the Suppliers. Those two tables shall connect via a third table to form a N:M relationship. The third table will be SupplierDevices that will have the PK of both other table and one additional column for the Price. It can have the Device PK and the Supplier PK.
