Power Apps Preview Web part in SharePoint not displaying latest version

Hello all,

I'm relatively new to the world of Power Apps and not even sure if this is the correct forum to ask this in, but I am having issues with the Power App preview web part in SharePoint displaying the latest version of my app. I built an app out of a SharePoint list and want to display it on the site in lieu of the actual SP list. When I throw it into the preview web part it shows the app just as it was when initially generated (i.e. none of my changes are showing). I've added screens and changed colors and none of it is showing.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Becca_Hayes ,

Please publish your canvas app after saving it and try to refresh the browser many times.

    Best Regards,

    This worked. Thank you!

I had no idea that publishing the app was even a thing. That was what I was missing. Just shows how green I am at this. 😅

    Hi,

I always ask users to refresh their browser (at least two times i noticed) and usually add version date on my apps first screen so that we can confirm we're working on the same version.

    But it's a bit laborious.

Is there any other way to force the Sharepoint site to automatically keep webparts up-to-date at site opening ? 🤔

It would be helpful for frequently modified apps...

    R.
