Creating a QR code to open PvA chat

Afternoon all,

I'm hoping this is in the correct place, couldn't find anywhere that fit it specifically...

I'm looking to create a QR code to place in our offices meeting rooms, that upon scanning from their mobile, opens up the bot to run through the meeting troubleshooting steps.

When using the link from the "Copy Link" button under share, I get the error of Link not Supported and to open in the desktop or webapp - is this simply not possible or am I missing something here?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Lewishagan,

Have you tried using the hyperlink of the demo website channel instead? That should open in a browser.

As @Expiscornovus says, the bot has to be published somewhere.  Once it is you can use the URL for that site to create a QR code.  I've done it with the demo website, but that's probably not the place to do it for production.

    Hi @Pstork1,

I agree, the demo website channel is not the best channel for production.

A custom website channel would probably be a better option 😃

@Expiscornovus Agreed.  The demo website is a good way to test it.  No offense intended.
