Can you update Entity Closed list with an API?

I am looking for a way to update Entity Closed list with either a workflow or an API. The reason I want to use an entity is because I want to be able to auto recognize and populate variables based on user's message using "Identify", the only other solution I can think of to this is using power automate but that wouldn't do smart matching and spell checks(At least to my knowledge).

    You can try to use the question node with "Options from a list variable" in the identity field

     

     

     

    As you can see, I set a variable (it could come from anywhere, ie flow or powerfx, - as long as its a table) ... and in the question, I simply use the dynamic closed list

    Instead of setting it manually, you can also set it as the result of a flow.
