Licensing Recommendation for a Single Power App Using Premium Features

Posted on by 47

I’m seeking advice on the best Power Apps licensing option for my scenario. I'm planning to create an app in Power App that uses premium features such as custom connectors and API integrations.

Here are my key considerations:

  1. The app will only be used by users within my organization.
  2. It is a single app leveraging premium features.
  3. I do not want to over-license initially, as I’m uncertain about the number of users.

Thanks in advance for your insights!

Licensing Recommendation for a Single Power App Using Premium Features
    Hi BlueGosu

Typically, the per app license is the cheapest option for up to 4 apps at $5/user/month.

With regards to the point "I do not want to over-license initially, as I’m uncertain about the number of users.", you might want to consider the 'pay as you go' model. Although this is more expensive at  $10/user/month, if you want to make the app available to a large user base and there are users that don't use the app for a given month, you won't be charged the license fee for that user for that month. Therefore, this could be more cost effective depending on your usage.

The following summary from the license guide might be of help to you.

    hey

it would be enough if its a single app that you pick the per app license.

keep in mind that every user using the app needs the premium license.
