Search Button for Location on Map from Data Source

Hi All,

I am in need of help please:

I have linked my map to my Data source, pins showing as expected on the map. I have created a gallery which also displays the locations. I was hoping there was a way to be able to set the button within the gallery that would take the user straight to the pins location on the map.

The idea be my team can search for the location, click the button that corresponds to that location and the map zooms in to the location they desire.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @mrhyde ,

    Please try this:

    Set(varLongitude,Value(TextInput1.Text));Set(varLatitude,Value(TextInput1_1.Text));Set(var,false);Set(var,true)

    Hi Wearsky,

That was awesome, works really well.

Now how would i go from here to get the Lat and Long information taken from the data table that i've linked PowerApps to?

Essentially in an excel table I have 'Location 1' with a column for Lat and Long, if the team were to enter just 'Location 1' in the text box and hit the button, how does the command fill the varlongitude and varlatitude with the information from that table?

This information is already being used by the map to display the dropped pins, so power apps already recognises 'latitude' and 'longitude' from the table.

    Cheers,

    Lee
