Images showing in studio but not in app

I have some images to display in a gallery that is working perfectly when previewing and within studio, but the moment I run the app the images disappear. All the images are formatted in .jpg already so i don't think it is a formatting issue. The images are loaded directly into the app also, and not being referenced from another source.

So when previewing in studio, it looks like this, and when the app is running, the images all disappear.

Hi aearioweu,

Thanks fo reaching out. Can you please share the session Id with us ? To share the sesionId, follow the steps below -

1. Open PowerApps and sign in to the app
2. Click on the hamburger menu.
3. Select the 'Session deatils' option from the menu.
4. You should now see a dialog box with session ID in it. You may take a screen shot, or note it down and send it to us
5. Open the app with the issue with loading the images.
6. Once completely loaded, close the app. Close PowerApps.

Hey @aearioweu

Sometimes this is a bug, I encounter your problem several times. Sometimes they load, sometimes they dont.
I suggest you test your app on your mobile phone or tablet and see if they load there. Instead of running the app in the Studio.
Just to be sure its just the running in the app that doesn't work.
Let me know if it works on your mobile device, otherwise:

Maybe try a Refresh button on your form for your images, if it doens't work on your mobile device.

I've tested the app on android as well, and no luck. They do not load there either.

My session ID when I'm in Studio is the following:

Session ID: d14f188f-f6ba-8b47-9297-a323f9c50c6f
PowerApps 2.0.732

My session ID when I'm using the app is this:

Session ID: 5da33767-a4d0-43e8-b7d3-0b5c622a7661
PowerApps 2.0.750

I'm having a similar problem. When I close out of my App and then reopen it the 6 images I have in Media - Images will only display 1 or 2 images. I have to Upload them again from my Desktop. I am running the App in my WebBrowser.

There was no problem when I was running the App on version 2.0.750 but since the App updated to version 2.0.760 this problem has persisted. If I restore the App on a 2.0.750 it works fine.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I am not sure if this will help but there was just a Blog post about an issue with Apps that were published in the last two weeks with embedded media. It might be worth a read.

Thank you for the sessionId, we are currently investigating the issue. Does the app work on https://web.powerapps.com ?

I have tried, but it also does not work. Also, I have tried to reupload images to the app, but no luck.

I can also see that even though the images are being accessed by my gallery, they show up as being used in 0 places in the media page.

It appears that this problem has been fixed in Release 2.0.762, at least for my App. To check what Release your App is running go to Details - Versions - look at the most current under PowerApps Release column. Release 2.0.762 appears to fix the issue... Release 2.0.760 is the only release I was having the issue on. I am running my APP from "Edit on the Web".
