How to populate Word document/PDF template from SharePoint Data(collected with Canvas Power Apps)

Good morning all!

 

I built a Canvas app from SharePoint List. Now I need help with - 

 

1. How to make Word template(from SharePoint Library or Microsoft Word app). 

and there is a option to Create Modern Template also. I made my template with that also and could not figure out the further process to make it editable for Date and other columns(where data would be added from SharePoint List).

 

2. How can I make a flow to populate Word document converted to PDF template and send it to email To and CC also.

 

(I read many articles online however I would like to know which one is the right way. As I tried and ended up making multiple Word templated directly SharePoint Library and could not make/create fields to collect data.)

    @AlexEncodian I am also trying to collect data from flow in a word document(so that I do not need to make word template separately). Could you please guide me for same.

    @AlexEncodian I want to collect data from my SharePoint List with Flow and send it to email with Word or PDF Document.

    One way is to build a Word Document Template manually from Microsoft Word app and then make a flow with further steps.

     

    I would like to know the alternative - so that I do need to make template with Word manually. Is it possible to populate a pdf document with all data including attachments and headers from list with flow only.

    Not that I am aware. How will you populate a document without a template file.

    I made it worked!
     
    1. I made word template with Column name and table based on our  business requirements and with the help of Developer fields - I added /designed content collection fields in front of each column I need to collect value for.
     
    2. I made a flow with premium connector populate a Word template and mapped all these column values also and send an email(To, Cc) to concerned departments HR, Production and Engg. also.
     
     (I am still working to convert Word to PDF, once it worked after that it did not. I am trying to figure out that part. Rest everything is working as expected.)
