Teams channel stopped working

Our PVA bot is used exclusively in the Teams channel and today we noticed that it's not responding to any queries. Tried uninstalling, re-adding the bot, re-adding Teams channel, but the issue is the same. It is the new unified canvas bot. Classic bots are still working in Teams. Directline testing chat works fine with both old and new PVA versions. Teams version is 1.6.00.12455.

Anyone else having the same issue?

For me, the fix was to switch the PVA app registration in Azure back to multi-tenant type. There is no other way around this at the moment.

I am facing the same issue now. Was anyone able to fix this?

    Thanks

Had a ticket with MS support about the issue, so far no more information other than single tenant type is not supported for PVA app registrations. Will try to solve this internally.

    Hi @inzil2k

Is this the same as this custom app registration for manual AAD auth?

So the problem was indeed with PVA app registrations on Azure. Setting them to single tenant types makes the Teams channel unresponsive. There were no PVA app registrations in the previous version and that now makes things difficult for us to deploy a bot to production. I was not able to find any information on this in the official docs either.

Just got information that new PVA bots create service principal applications in Azure that are by default set to multiple organizations. Our AD department were setting them to single tenant as per their policy and that may be the cause. I have yet to verify this, but maybe someone from Microsoft could confirm if this may cause issues?
