Embed Canvas app into model driven app on Site Nav

Hi All - I followed this post to open a canvas app in a model driven app

 

Embed a Canvas App in a Model Driven App (full-screen) – Dynamict

 

but I don't think I have the web resource set up right - if I enter the URL as they have it I get an error- it won't take it - and if I change the type to url and enter the web resource URL I get a blank page. Any ideas? thx
