We are keen to try Power Virtual Agents but can't get started.
Tried to access the free trial at: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-virtual-agents/sign-up-individual
But repeatedly got:
followed by my email address.
I am registered for Azure access with this address.
Frustrating since this looks like the best route for our conversational AI project.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Henry i have been trying to access copilot studio but i keep getting the same error stating my organization does not allow this? How can i rectify this as i need copilot for my project.
Great to read you're unblocked - don't forget to disable automatic renewal to avoid being charged for the M365 trial.
Also feel free to mark my post as solution to close this thread, thank you!
This did the trick, Henry. We are up and running.
Thanks for your assistance!
Thanks, Henry. I'll give this a try.
I'm trying to check if there are prerequisites to have a work or school account that is tied to an Azure Active Directory tenant.
In the meantime, you may be able to achieve the same by first setting up a Microsoft 365 for business trial Microsoft 365 Business Standard, 1 Month free, Microsoft 365. This would require to create a new Azure tenant domain (e.g. @DOMAIN.onmicrosoft.com), but I believe that the newly created email@DOMAIN.onmicrosoft.com would then allow you to add a trial of Power Virtual Agents.
I think not, Henry. We use Azure for hosting a Laravel/PHP site and a MySQL database.
I did, however, just manage to register for Microsoft Power Apps. Thsi seemed to work fine creating an app but, sadly, when I selected Chatbot | Create from the menu it took me to a "Welcome to Power Virtual Agents" screen with a "Start Free Trial" button which took me to "Contract your admin to sign up for Power Virtual Agents". But I see no option to sign up for Power Virtual Agents when I log into the Azure dashboard.
Do you already have any other Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 or Power Platform SaaS products associated with your email address? Is your email tied to an Azure Active Directory tenant identity?
Thanks, Henry, for the swift reply.
Hi @DaveSimplifire,
Are you in the regular commercial cloud or an US Government cloud?
I've seen users hitting similar error messages on different products because they were GCC / GCC High customers.
If that's the case for you, can you try with one of the URLs outlined here: Understand the US Government plans available - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Learn? I'm assuming you'll be prompted to start a trial from there too.
