I am looking to build an app for our complaints intake process. We use Propel, which is an app in SalesForce for this complaints process and I was wondering if it were possible to access Propel when SalesForce is the data source of the app?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @jrosa,

Yes you should be able to. Power Platform comes with Salesforce connectors out-of-the-box which you have the ability to

    1. Connect directly to Salesforce within your canvas app
    2. Integrate Salesforce data into CDS with Dataflows or Power Automate to have greater flexibility and then connect your apps to CDS.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @EricRegnier,

Besides the documentation provided by Microsoft do you know of any good resources that would help a user better understand the connection between PowerApps and SalesForce? I'm struggling to find relevant resources.

    Thanks!

Not really unfortunately besides the online resources. Have you also tried the Salesforce communities? It’s relatively simple to build some kind of POC (proof-of-concept) or prototype with Powe Apps. I find that helps a lot when trying to learn or understand a technology or if the solution is fit for purpose. Perhaps give that a try?

    cheers
