AI Builder Form Processing Inconsistent results specifically table data

I have created a n AI Model using 5 sample PDF invoices(Created from Dynamics 365). When I test the model the results are inconsistent as listed below:

1. The details in the invoice was identified by the model as table but when I test it is not picking up the full set of data. Some cases it is ignoring few lines and in some cases it is ignoring the full table. I have tried using the same invoices used in the build and for some it is not picking up the table data.

2. One of the fields identified in the model is not coming up with the values for some cases.

Thanks for assistance.

Does all the 5 forms share the same layout? Note that adding more than 5 forms (samples) can also help increase the results becoming better

    Hi @muralpo ,

There are some requirements and limitations about the Form processing input documents, please check if your 5 sample PDF invoices satisfy the followings.

    • JPG, PNG, or PDF format (text or scanned). Text-embedded PDFs are better, because there won't be any errors in character extraction and location.
    • The combined file size of the documents used for training must not exceed 50 MB and should not be more than 500 pages for PDF documents.
    • For images, dimensions must be between 530 x 100 and 4200 x 4200 pixels.
    • If scanned from paper documents, scans should be high-quality images.
    • Must use the Latin alphabet (English characters).
    • Must contain keys and values (for example, "company: Contoso" works; "Contoso" without a key label isn't supported).
    • Keys can appear above or to the left of the values, but not below or to the right.

I recommend you make a test based on the Sample Data from PowerApps to see the training effect.

    Thanks For the response.

All the 5 sample invoices are of same lay out generated from Dynamics 365 F&O and down loaded in PDF format.

The Main fields from Invoice is picked up correctly but the line items are inconsistent. table_0 entries are shown none for some invoices even though there are lines.

    Thanks,

    Murali

    Hi @muralpo ,

Would you mind share your sample invoices?

Or please post more screenshots to express the issue more intuitively?

    Sik
