Combobox keeps reseting displayfield to "ComplianceAssetId"

Hi,

I'm making a form for a sharepoint list using powerapps and want to add a combobox with items from another sharepoint list but I keep getting the following bug:

when I change the DisplayField or the Searchfield to any column of the list it automatically changes it back to the useless field "ComplianceAssetId". Besides the fact that power apps should never (and I mean NEVER) change back a value I explicitly changed, there is nothing wrong with the column names I used.
I checked with extra labels to see if I can get the values of a selected value, and all columns show correct values.

I've had this issue before but it always went away after a few tries, but this time it doesn't.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue so I can use this combobox?

kind regards,
Jelle

Is the the modern or old? If modern, swap to the old one.

    If not

    Delete it
    Recreate it
    Populate it again
    publish

    See if it stops.

Unfortunately, that has been a regular standard behaviour for a long time on Combo Boxes (Classic and it seems now Modern) when there is more than one field in the Items - it frequently defaults to the first item when the Items is changed.
I just get used to it and reset the display field when required.
