entity["attribute name"]=value
Could anyone suggest which one should i use for pre operaion and pre validation plugin

    I suggest that use:
    entity["Fieldname"]=value
    or entity.SetAttributeValue("Fieldname", value).
    If you use entity.Attribute.Add("attributename", value), you may have a risk to get an error , for example if the one you add is present in the entity. unless you figure out way to avoid that.
