Help Desk AssignedTo field

Hi

On the Power Apps Help Desk template.

There seems to be an issue with my AssignedTo.

On the Sharepoint - this field is set up to be a person.

When i play the app and type a name, it does not automatically pick up any names.

Sharepoint is obviously also not updating.

    Hi @JerryH ,

     

    Please ensure that your list name is the same as the name in Power Apps. Could you share the screenshot of the list schema to help you better?

    Hi @JerryH ,

     

    Just to change the formula with that column name replace the formula as:

    IsBlank(AssignedTo.Selected.DisplayName)

    Ensure that it is added to the Datacard also.

    Replace the errored area in the formula.

    Hi.

    1. The below is a DropDown.

    Should this not be a TextInput because we are writing name of person we are Assigning job too?

    It is both actually, you are absolutely good to type the user name and it will show there or you can select from the dropdown.

    Dear @KrishnaV 

     

    I am having a similar issue. I cannot write or select anything from the box. If I assign an user from Sharepoint it appears in the app, but I cannot assign it directly from the app, seems blocked

     

    Furthermore, I do not understand the formula in the datacard, why is related to the selected value in the "Status" datacard? (notice that I renamed my list to 'Ticketing tool')

     

    Could you please help me to solve this?

    Hi @KrishnaV,  in the app edit -> Got EditTicketFormAssignedToValue-> IsSearchable-> by default its "false" , change this to "True".

     

    Thats it and it worked for me we can start searching the mail ids.
