SEND AN EMAIL WITH TEXT WITHIN THE POWERAPPS AND SELECTED DATE

Hi guys, I've already posted to the flow community, but I don't know if it would be good to post here, in case anyone knows.

So...

I have a powerapps, where I select the users I want to send the emails to, however I want to write and select a date on that email

within the powerapps and send it by email, is it possible?

My flow:

Note: my email works by selecting users, but I just want to see how I can insert a specific date and text

If the date is the same for all the users, just add another Ask in Power Apps field to the flow and supply the date as a second parameter when you run the flow from Power Apps.

As I said, you need to add the text and date ask Ask In Power Apps fields in the flow and then include them as parameters in the Run command. So your Run statement should look more like this.

SEND_EMAIL_PDI.run(JSON(UserColle;Compact),DatePicker1.SelectedDate, TextBox1.Text)

Where DatePicker1 is the datepicker in Power Apps and TextBox1 is the text box.

I'm not sure what you mean by reset the date. You can reset the datepicker to the default in Power Apps using

Reset(DatePicker1)

After adding the two additional parameters did you remove the flow from the Power App and re-add it?

Because its required if you want Power Apps to recognize that you need two additional parameters for the Run() call. Otherwise the parameters aren't passed, they don't show up in flow and you can't insert them into the email.

I added the parameters, but I didn’t re-add the flow in the powerapps, that could have been it, and every time I edit it, there’s an error in the powerapps trigger

That would be why the trigger is giving you an error. Make all the changes I suggested. remove and re-add the flow, and then add the new parameters to the email. Values have to be supplied for them to show up in the email. It doesn't happen magically.
