TextInput not retaining numeric input

Hi All,
 
I'm having a very weird issue with a Text Input box, I have 3 Text Input boxes the first 1 is for numeric values and the other 2 are configured for text input, so what is happening is if I input a numeric value in the first box and then move to the first text box the numeric box is clearing itself, this happening randomly so I don't know where to start, can anyone advise or offer guidance please.
