Model-driven app's editable sub grid jumps back to page 1 after editing a record on a different page

Seeking advice on keeping a model-driven app's editable subgrid on the current page after refreshing or executing a custom "Extend to next year" command, which updates record dates in bulk. This reset disrupts user workflow. Any workarounds or solutions within Power Platform or Dynamics 365 to maintain pagination state would be highly valued. Thank you for any assistance.

Our model-driven app features an editable subgrid with a display of 20 records per page. Users experience an issue where, upon refreshing the subgrid or activating a "Extend to next year" custom command (which updates record dates en masse), the subgrid reverts to the first page rather than remaining on the current one.
Thank you
