I am sorry if there is already an issue about it but I couldn't find it anywhere..
Is there a way to build events(like the handoff.initiate event) and return them to the user via the direct line channel?

It's super easy if you are using Microsoft OminiChannel hub. All configurations and no custom coding involved. However, if you would like to do it on a generic or custom one, some custom development is required to create an adaptor.

I never tested it yet, but I think that it's possible using Bot Framework (Pro dev) or Bot Framework Composer (low-code/citizen developers).
