Where is my SharePoint list gone?

Background

Last week I created a PowerPoint App linked to a SharePoint tables called JobDetails and Contacts.

I also created virtually the same PA using SQL Server tables on Azure.

Because support for SQL is changing I decided to continue development on the SharePoint List based version.

I made some changes to the List Structure (added some fields etc), relinked to MS Access and uploaded data.

Next I tried to add the SharePoint List as an additional DataSource to my SQL Based app.

Help Needed

1.

The top left image shows the SQL Based PA where I tried adding SharePoint Lists called JobDetails and Contacts.

On the top right is the Sharepoint screen that shows both Lists.

The DataSource called eeJobDetails is one I started to add but decided to remove.

Where is the SharePoint List called JobDetails

2.

On the bottom are two screen prints showing the problem I am having with the app created last week.

The DataSources are JobDetails, Contacts and Office365 but when I open it a message appears in a large banner across the top that says "Failed to load JobDetails. The requested operation is invalid. Server response: Value does not fall within the expected range" (see banner at bottom of image below.

So although it shows JobDetails as a DataSource, it cannot find it, however I can go into SharePoint I can look at and modify it and I have successfully linked to it from MS Access and loaded data to it.

What has happened to my SharePoint List called JobDetails and how do I re-link PA to it?

    Hi PaNewby,

About the error message “Value does not fall within the expected range”, I think it is due to throttling limit set at List View Lookup Threshold settings in WebApplication.

To resolve this error, please try to open the SharePoint Central Administration site and click “Manage Web Application” link located under Application Management Group. Select the web application that has the problem. Select the “Resource Throttling” link under the “General Settings”

Navigate to List View Lookup Threshold section and change the value to a higher value depending on the count of Lookup, Person/Group, or workflow status field available in the list that caused the issue.

If you are still getting this issue, please show me the configuration of the list “JobDetails”.

If possible, please also provide your Session ID. You could get your session ID under File>Account>Diagnostics> Session Details.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for offering to help. In response:

    1. open the SharePoint Central Administration site and click “Manage Web Application” link located under Application Management Group. Select the web application that has the problem. Select the “Resource Throttling” link under the “General Settings”

Afraid I am a Newby to all the functions associated with this so I don't know which/where the SharePoint Central Administration site is. I can't find what you're referring to anywhere in the places I looked.

If you are still getting this issue, please show me the configuration of the list “JobDetails”.
