Get rows of Multiple

Hej,

if you add a field from type "Multiple Lines of Text" to a form (in a Model-driven App) you can configure how many Rows the field should have (under formatting). You can see it on the attached Screenshot.

Is there a possibility to fetch this configuration in a PCF?

Thanks

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to configure how many rows the Multiple-Line Text field could have?

If you want to configure how many rows the Multiple-Line Text field could have within a Model-Driven app form or using Power Framework Component API, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    Hej @v-xida-msft,

    thanks for your reply.

In a Model-driven App you can already configure how many rows a TextArea for a Multiline Text field should have (Field Hight). You can find it under "Formatting" (you can see it on my Screenshot).

I would like to load this number to my PCF so that i can use the already given configuration. At the moment i do have a own configuration in my PCF where you can choose the Rows but if you would like to change it its in 2 different places. I would like to minimize the need of dubble configurations.

But like you wrote there might not be a way in the API at the moment.

if so I will submit an idea.
