there is a tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-b8w9ea1kk to access files and folders on a document library.

i have an error on this Variable:

set(varfolderpath,"Shared Documents")

also tried with set(varfolderpath;Text( "Shared Documents")

but still get an error on my variable.

also it seems that "on start" field of the app does not exist anymore.

Should i put my variable on the "formulas field of my app?

any suggestions?

for the solution itself you do not need to add this column.

its enough when u add it to your sharepoint list. if its not in your list you wont find it here in powerapps

unfortunately my files are not stored on a sharepoint list but instead on a document library.

What i've done to make my files delegable:

    • i've put all my files on multiple sub folders.all my files stored on sub folders contains less then 2000 files
    • i added a new "Text" column on my sharepoint document library named "Path".
    • I created a power automate flow with:
    • "When a new file is created". and the trigger condition: "@not(equals(triggerBody()?['{Path}'],triggerBody()?['Path']))"
    • Update file (properties) and on the "path" field i selected the folder path to populate automatically this field

Now for each of the the created file i have the folder path on the sharepoint column and all my files are now delegable!
