BUG : Business Rules Error on checking whole number field value in condition Action

I have a  Field "test Col"  with Type : Whole Number,  Format : None , Min Value : 1000, Max Value : 9999 .

In Business Rule , I'm checking Condition if "test Col" Is Greater Than 9998 => On Validating or Saving ,it's giving error that value should be whole number between 1000 and 9999.

But while I'm using Set Vaule action in Business rule and setting value of "test Col" to 9999 , its not giving any such error.

I noticed that while I enter the number in value field in Condition Action it takes ","  due to format setting for my Organization. So I changed the format settings to without "," and now I try to save/Validate Business rule it doesn't give Error.

This is a bug as if field value is Whole No , then irrespective of format settings it should parse it to number for comparison.

Thanks

    Hi @Ashish-_- ,

It seems to be a bug definitely.

I have tried in my instance and i don't get any error.

I would request you to lodge Microsoft support ticket.

Have you tried from different browser?

    Hi @bipinshan ,

Please try changing the digit group

    In 1 => Error

In 2 => It works fine

You will notice that on changing the format BR will give error as mentioned.

I have tried in different environments and browsers ,But still getting the same error.

    Hi!

Hi have the same issue with whole numbers

When i type into Business Rule the integer value, Dynamics changes automatically the value to 2 digits.

    Example

    I have a integer field [new_integer] with range: -199999999 to 199999999

In BR i type: new_integer is greather than 13000

When i change focus, dynamics sets 13.

But in the text asistant, says 13000

    Is very anormal.
