Custom table linked to account - cannot see BU in views?

Hi Everyone, really hoping someone can help me with this.

I have created business units and then within my account table, selected a business unit to which it should belong. Now I have a custom table called “projects“ in which I use a look up to select an account to create that relationship. A project can only belong to one account and an account can only belong to (its parent account) and one business unit

in the end, I want my projects to roll up to the account, which works fine, and also roll up to the business unit level. In every view when I select a business unit in a related table view, I see blanks.

does dataverse not roll up through to the business unit in a dataverse or a model-driven app? Or what am I missing?

 Thank you

Oh. starting from scratch in a new environment I think business unit is showing up in my project table. But then I have a project table as a parent table to others and I want business unit to roll up for those as well. Am I asking the impossible?

Thank you. I was hoping there was a solution to this. I started thinking of maybe creating N:N relationships. Or maybe I will just have to ask the users to select/look up the business unit. Thank you again for the response
