Hi - We have developed 4 canvas apps with 6 Dataverse tables. We packaged as solution and try to move from one domain to other domain (vendor domain to client domain) we are getting issue that " Solution "aaaaa" failed to import : principal with ID doesnot have read access rights ....." attached is image. Can you please some one advise us how to resolve this issue? Is there any specific permissions missing in client environment?

    Hello Everyone,

I am trying to move a solution from Dev to Prod environment and i am getting below issue.

Solution "Solution name" failed to import: Retention is not supported for the org.

Although i checked in my solution table none of the table has enabled retention of data.

Please help if anyone of you has faced such similar issue.

    thanks in advance

    Hi @badri207

The error is stating that the importing user does not have access to the asyncoperation table - which is the out-of-the-box System Job table in Dataverse.

What Security Roles does the user importing the Solution have?  Have you tried giving the importing user the System Administrator role?

Did you package both the apps and the Dataverse tables?  If you did, then I suspect the problem is the security in the Dataverse tables isn't set to allow the person importing the solution to have access to the tables.

    Hi @badri207

Did you forget to attach the image that you mentioned?  If you can provide the full error message it will help determine what permissions are missing.

The easiest thing to do, is to make sure that the user that is importing the solution has the System Administrator security role.  That way you wont run into any permission issues.
