AIAD issue: logos not loading

Hi there!

I recently started working with the Power Platform. A few months ago I already completed the App In A Day session.

Today I was redoing this session, a little bit more experienced 😁

However, I ran into a little issue... As you can see in the screenshots, I'm trying to get the ManufacturerGallery to work.

ThisItem.Logo displays only the Microsoft logo, while ThisItem.'Logo@display' shows all the logos except the Microsoft logo...

ThisItem.LogoThisItem.LogoThisItem.'Logo@display'ThisItem.'Logo@display'

Previously, I had never heard of ThisItem.'Logo@display'...

I checked the datasource, reloaded it, deleted the gallery, ... everything seems normal to me 😅

Thanks in advance!

Kevin

@KCoeck I have noticed the same behavior. Have asked to see if it can be "fixed". One thing I have done to get past this is:

    If(
     IsBlank(ThisItem.'Logo@display'),
     ThisItem.Logo,
     ThisItem.'Logo@display'
    )

I know this is a workaround but it at least makes the gallery look good.

@PowerAddict , Could you tell me what the word '@display' means?

Hello, I attended the same training. We’ve found out that this issue is caused by excel file which is our source of data. If you open the file Device-Order-Data.xlsx and check the column “Logo” on “Manufacturers” tab you will see that hyperlinks are different from display text. For example “http://d3932a13ec144a0f0c85-71c15f7bef6f83fe32f00edef54ad7cf.r71.cf2.rackcdn.com/PC/Logos/Dell.png” versus “https://diviceimage.azureedge.net/devices/Logos/Dell.png”. For some reason for MS logo display text is the same as hyperlink. If you remove all hyperlinks and leave only text with logo urls, app will work with “ThisItem.Logo” for all records.

I thought that “@display” force app to use either hyperlinks or display text as URLs, but still it is a mystery for me, why using one way or another all logos can’t be displayed at once.
