an unknown error occurred in form

After getting my Entity to save (i put all my default values back in the text fields but left out the " characters), I created an app based on the entity.

After filling out the EditForm, i get an helpful error (see Subject).

I wish i could be more specific, but then it wouldn't be an unknown error.

Am I just out of luck? Or do I have to start over with a new form checking one field at a time and adding fields until the form that fails?

It appears the problem was with those pesky default text values.

Here's what I did to resolve the unknown error:

    1. I saved and closed the app
    2. Checked the Entity in CDS (it was saved)
    3. Reopned the new app that threw the unknown exception earlier
    4. Refreshed the Data Source in the app
    5. Started the app
    6. Noticed the default values this time (Clue: if you don't see default values, don't bother filling the form, it will probably fail)
    7. Saved the EditForm without adding any non-default values
    8. Edited the form again adding a few new values and saving the edit
    9. Continued until the form was completely filled out
    10. No more problems

I'm getting a similar error, I've created an app that has excel data source and it needs to write back to the xlsx. I've filled out the save button as such. However, when I submit the form i get unknown error occurred. Please help me with this issue.

    UpdateContext({NewSurvey:Patch(PoaResponses,Defaults(PoaResponses),{ProgramId:Text(CountRows(PoaResponses)+1),Country:Dropdown3.Selected.Country,GlobalTeams:Dropdown4.Selected.GlobalTeams,ProgramArea:Dropdown1.Selected.OptionText,Objective:TextInput1,Title:TextInput9,Intervention:TextInput2,KeyIndicators:TextInput8,Name:TextBox12,Target:TextInput4,StartDate:DatePicker1,EndDate:DatePicker2,Protocol:Radio3,Documentation:ListBox5,Type:Radio4,Cost:Radio2,FundingProgram:Radio5})});Navigate(Screen1,ScreenTransition.Fade)
