Hi All,
I want to move my changes from the SharePoint list based forms from dev to Prod environment, unfortunately there is no way to export/import ,what is the best possible approach I can use?
Hi @AdityaG ,
Firstly, when you say unfortunately there is no way to export/import , what are your restrictions here?
You can select the app then choose Export Package (Preview) in the top menu. This will download a zip file, which you can then import into the new environment - Import Canvas App - also in the top menu.
Other than that it is fairly easy to copy and paste entire forms across. Can you please be specific with the issue you face.
Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
Hi Warren , Thanks for the reply, I have not created the app but from the SharePoint list option I have choosen "Customize forms".Hence the forms are not visible and no export option is available
This is a PowerApps forum, so I assumed you were asking a question about that.
You can save the list as a Template and include the content and it will then come up in your new App lists as an icon. If you are on the same base site, you can import this, otherwise it is a convoluted process (but possible I believe) to get it to another site. I have never done it as my test site is a sub site of the main.
Apologies for creating confusion.
Following are the steps I have performed:
Thanks @AdityaG ,
All your assumptions are correct - an integrated app does not appear in your list (that is for standalone apps) and you cannot export it as the menu item does not exist.
HOWEVER - you can easily copy your entire form and paste it in a standalone app - I do the reverse all the time for the SharePoint forms (I create most as standalone first). All you really have to change is the Item from SharePointIntegrated.Selected to YourGalleryName.Selected
Do you want to export a sharepoint custom form from one list to another list?
I'm afraid it's not supported currently.
Firstly, please distinguish the differences between sharepoint custom form and powerapps standalone app.
Sharepoint custom form is just a form existing in sharepoint. You could see it as a feather of sharepoint by using the tool of powerapps.
PowerApps standalone app is an app created in powerapps and existing in powerapps.
Exporting app from one environment to another environment is a feather of powerapps, which is not supported in sharepoint.
However, I've found a link that someone said that he found the solution.
I've made a similar test but not successfully import the .zip package.
So maybe you could try his solution:
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/PowerApps-for-SharePoint-List-Forms-Package-and-Deploy/m-p/383797
https://poszytek.eu/en/microsoft-en/office-365-en/powerapps-en/importing-powerapps-package-as-a-sharepoint-list-form/
But in theory, this feather hasn't been supported.
You could post your idea about this feather in idea forum:

Best regards,
Hi @AdityaG and thank you @v-yutliu-msft for extrapolating on my post.
I disagree however with one statement
As mentioned in my post, a complete form with all objects and code can be copied from one to the other when they are open in different tabs. All that then has to be changed is the Item.
Just checking if you got the result you were looking for on this thread. Happy to help further if not.
Thanks for your reply, I would try your suggestion and would revert back.
