Summary of Form Submission and "To" Function

Hello!
I have created an "Expense Sheet" application where employees fill out information and send it to their Managers for approval.

I have linked each button below to a PowerAutomate Powerapps Button to Approval, where it sends a notification via teams and an email advising.
My issues however:
1. I need help creating a summary of the below information to send through the request as well via approvals.

2. I need to know whether there is a way to have it "Sent by" the actual user and not by default, myself. As per example below.

Thank you!

    hi @madeleineh ,

i assume you are using create and wait for an approval in your power automate flow, if Yes then you can use the Requested By property of that action and wherever you are storing the data add the created by field from that data source as a value for this Requested By feild value. this will start changing your name to the actual requestor name

    Hello!

It is currently on First to Respond - do you say i should change it to wait for one response?

please see the SS and you can see the requestor property of create an approval put your original requestor name in this property and you will be able to see their name in the approval request instead of your name

Yes, technically it's right, just one thing is that if you want to use your own email as a requestor always then it's right else ideally i would say use dynamic content and put the actual Requestor Email who is creating the record in this Requestor property and this is me assuming you are storing all the response somewhere i.e. Dataverse or sharepoint list

I dont need one specific person to send this, i need it to come from anyone in the business who has access to the application (aka. anyone who uses the button to submit the request).

I want this information to come from whoever launches the powerapp.

So can you please tell me where are you storing the data of the app

    1. When someone click the button do you store that record somewhere?
    2. If No, then can you please create a new parameter in your Power Automate flow named as RequestorEmail
    3. then pass the current user email address while triggering your flow i.e. MHApprovalFinal.Run(RequestorEmail:User().Email)
    4. then put this new parameter i.e. RequestorEmail in the Requestor Property of your Create Approval Action which i shared before

this will dynamically send the approval request based on who is Clicking the button in your application

Let me know how you get on with this
